Restoring Dignity has spoken at church groups and community organisations on a range of topics requested by the organisation. We are open to invitations to share our wealth of wisdom on recovery.
Restoring Dignity has provided counselling skill training in Australia, Papua New Guinea and other Pacific Nations. In Papua New Guinea topics including foundational counselling skills, anger management, anxiety, trauma, gender-based violence, and strengthening marriage workshops.
In Australia Restoring Dignity provides training to organisations on working with suicide, psychosis and other mental health challenges, teaching skills and providing understanding on recovery. Training has also been provided in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), self-care, ethics, boundaries and other topics to equip workers.
Our goal is to train individuals working in community organisations and churches so they are equipped to help clients in their workplaces or local community.
Funds raised from providing services in Australia is used to fund training in Pacific Nations where there is a need for counselling services.
